How does this program save you money?

     In year 2 the total cost of sailing 12 days is only $1,500.00.  In year 3 the total cost is only $1,500.00.  In year 4 the cost is only $1,500.00.  Year 5 $1,500.00 etc.  Where else can you sail a beautiful yacht in the Caribbean for so little money?  Nowhere else.  And you get money back at the sale of the boat as an added dividend!  Time blocks will be sold on a first come, first served basis.  Once funds are received the time will be reserved in your name.  These blocks of time apply to the coming year and future years.  Remember, you can trade, swap or sell your time to other co-owners of Amazing Grace.  This will increase the flexibility in usage that will benefit all of us.  Usage begins on Saturday at 12 Noon and ends on Thursday at Noon twelve days later.  This allows two days for cleaning, mechanical inspection, repair and provisioning.  For schedule planning for year 2002 and beyond the two-week block for Christmas will begin on the Saturday before the 25th of December. For example December 22, 2001 to January 3, 2002.  This will establish the Saturday rotational order for the following weeks each year.  

   Who qualifies to own?

      All prospective owners will be either:

      #1. A current or previous sailboat owner.

      #2. Have previously chartered in the Caribbean

      #3. Someone proficient in sailing.

      #4.  New partners must take a Captain aboard ( Arranged by Sailboat Partners ) for training purposes ( unless their resume demonstrates

             adequate experience ) until partner is proficient enough to handle the boat on their own.
